Candidates will be expected to work with the team on setting up a series of media workshops in 2008 forcusing on key “global” issues aimed at experienced editors, journalists and producers from all over the world. Workshop themes range from peacekeeping, global health threats and climate to migration, human rights and intellectual property.

Volunteers will contribute toward organizing the workshops (including conference support during the actual sessions) by finding panelists, following up on journalist contacts, and coordinating the Media21 network of partner organizations, donors and sponsors. Assistance is also needed to help develop the Media21 website.
Please note that these are wholly volunteer/intern positions without remuneration.
Nevertheless, candidates should expect to gain excellent media experience and the chance to network within the international community.
