KPFT will be offering raw footage of 1983’s Juneteenth Festival, which many of you have received an email about from Robin Lewis. Classic music that you will find nowhere, because KPFT recently digitized these reel-to-reel tapes for posterity. This package has been very hot this drive. Volunteers are encouraged to chat this up. Listeners are definitely encouraged to get it; heard the audio just recently and it is truly spectacular.

Please remember that the date of record for those who wish to have their membership updated for the upcoming elections is the end of August. Installment pledges paid after the date don’t count unless it covers at least $25 before Aug. 31. This is extra incentive to ask for credit card pledges as well.
