See Me @ NetSquared
JayMac (host of the killer Low End Theory podcast, recent Houstonist profilee and tech honcho in his day job) recently invited me to speak to NetSquared, a national organization that seeks to connect technical folks to nonprofits and build relationships, about KPFT and technology. Though I am not the CIO (not that we have a CIO), enough of my time is spent fixing computer problems and explaining technology to people that I’m probably considered knowledgeable enough to talk about us. Well, that ‘recently’ is Tuesday, and you’re welcome to drop by. The event starts at 7 p.m. at the Stag’s Head Pub at the Plaza on Richmond and Shepherd. I’ll be talking about KPFT and our use of technology, the future and the present. Some of it, like our website redesign, is concrete, but much of it is unknown because, like many nonprofits, tech is not as high as it should be on our list. Should be fun. Come by.
