Rick Smith Passes

Rick Smith, host of KPFT’s avant-garde Messerschmitt World Domination Happy Hour, passed away unexpectedly this past week. He was 39. His family will hold a service for him Tuesday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 1111 S. Cherry St. in Tomball. Start time is 10:30 a.m. His family has asked that flowers be sent, and that, in lieu, contributions to one’s favorite charity be made. Please keep Rick’s loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
