EarthCare is a new two-minute segment available to stations, and airs on KPFT weekdays after Open Journal. The program’s purpose is to educate the public on solutions for a cleaner, healthier environment, and more sustainable ways of living and doing business. EarthCare offers a positive perspectives with viable solutions to environmental problems and ways citizens can be involved in making changes in their lives and in their community to build a more sustainable, healthy environment for the future. The program covers numerous topics including air quality, energy, policy, events, toxics, and lifestyle and sustainability. EarthCare is written and produced by Vicki Wolf, an environmental writer who has been writing and producing articles and programs about health and the environment for more than 20 years.So far nearly 100 segments have been produced and production will be ongoing. This program is a project by the Citizens League for Environmental Action Now (CLEAN), in partnership with KPFT. Listen for it. If you’re with a station, by all means check out EarthCare.
