culturekitchen
This week’s recommendation for listeners is Liza Sabater’s impressive site, culturekitchen. Part political commentary, part sociologist’s dream, culturekitchen is what Common Dreams could’ve been before it became such a Democratic Party shill. A little attitude, a lot of scholarship, a good dose of humor and plenty of enlightening stuff. I enjoy culturekitchen because I get the great information I’m looking for, along with a love for progressive news and politics that is the hallmark of a truly provocative website. Drilling down much further than the front page can be annoying, as there are plenty of broken pages and links to even basic things like contact forms. However, great content more than makes up for that. Kudos for sharing via Creative Commons as well.
