Candidate documents are now publicly available on the pacificafoundation site, according to Internet Projects Manager Pete Korakis. There are prominent links on the /elections mainpage; more links will be added on the foundation homepage.

The Foundation’s website, www.Pacificafoundation.org, has sections devoted to the National Board, National Office, and Pacifica Elections.

The Elections section, http://www.pacificafoundation.org/elections/, provides access to documents, recent news (e.g., the recent term limits interpretation by the NES, plus information on becoming a candidate, joining a committee, becoming a voter, and proportional representation) in English and Spanish, and the election timeline. On the /elections site, you will also see two menu links called “Elections Documents,” and two areas that display “Recent Elections Docs” and “Popular Elections Docs.” PDF files are small (light) and download fast.

The National Office section includes financial documents, jobs, staff reports, and policies.

The National Board section includes PNB members, a Calendar, the bylaws, and a contact option.

www.pacifica.org continues to be the network’s content-rich site, with links to Pacifica audio and programming, while www.pacificanetwork.org provides information on affiliation, network stations, resources, and campaigns.
