You may mix and match, but “KPFT Houston” must always be in order. It’s posted in the studio. Please make note. The FCC requires legal IDs.

A legal ID is:

“KPFT Houston”

NOT

“KPFT in Houston”
[I hear this is okay, but let’s go for KPFT Houston]

NOT

“90.1 Pacifica Radio KPFT”

NOT

“Pacifica Radio in Houston”

NOT

“90.1 FM in Houston

Nothing but “KPFT Houston” though you should mention Pacifica Radio, 90.1, listener-sponsored, commercial-free, etc. Thanks!
