KPFT Membership Coordinator

DEFINITION: The Membership Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Development Director. This is a full-time exempt position. The Membership Coordinator is responsible for donor relations, customer service requests, written correspondence, direct mail-outs, database management (MEMSYS), donation tracking and analysis, premium administration, fund drive pledge collection.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Data Entry into MEMSYS of pledges and pledge payments
2. Process direct mail-outs for reminders, thank you’s and premiums, tax forms, matching fund forms, and listener queries, and renewal mail.
3. Organize and execute packaging and mailing of thank you gifts.
4. Mail merge and written correspondence
5. Light filing and other clerical responsibilities, as needed.
6. Coordinating thank you gift lists with programmers before and during fund drives.

REQUIRMEMENTS:
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional conduct and adherence to department standards and ethics
• Database experience and data entry skills, including excellent knowledge of query writing
• Computer literate and proficient in Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse team of staff and volunteers

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelors degree.

Experience: 2 years of equivalent work experience. Experience with non-profit organization, purchase order systems, MEMSYS database, and postage meter operations.

Skills and Abilities: Must be able to work with a diverse mix of staff and volunteers and contribute in a teamwork environment.

Physical Abilities:

Mental Abilities: Ability to think clearly and manage multiple changing priorities, and remain pleasant and positive. Requires critical thinking and ability to support people with difficult challenges. Requires good judgment.
