The Movement Vision Lab, a special project of the Center for Community Change, is launching a $1000 video contest. For the contest, contestants are asked to create a short, 3 minute video that reflects community values in immigration.

Here’s the idea behind the contest—we know that, as a country and as a world, we’re all in it together and we’re more than the sum of our parts. That goes for both sides of the border. So what would it mean to value everyone equally, no matter where they come from and how they got here? How would you tell America that immigration is about Community Values?

With the upcoming election right around the corner, we want to tell a compelling story to the American people—a story that supports fair and humane immigration reform that is based on community values.

Visit this website for more details and submission guidelines/instructions. The deadline is February 29th, 2008 at 5 PM.
