Love or hate the majors (or Linkin Park), one of its own, Mike Shimoda, is supporting Creative Commons licensing with a Fort Minor remix contest. Fort Minor is Shimoda’s side project signed to Warner Brothers. The Creative Commons licensing concept is intended to be a more open-ended means of distribution.
